CELEBRATING OUR PEN WOMEN MEMBERS & FRIENDS READING THEIR WORK
Time: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Pacific Club, 1451 Queen Emma Street, Honolulu 96813
Members and Friends, do you have a short story, memoir, essay or poem to read and share with us?
It must be no longer than 5 minutes. Please read out loud and time what you are presenting before the meeting to make sure it is no longer than 5 minutes.
To read, email Susan Killeen at skilleen8@gmail.com
Deadline is May 4th.
Hopefully there will be time for everyone to read, but Members are prioritized. On your email, please supply a title and a brief description of your reading, i.e., “ ‘Watermeloncholy,' a comic memoir of a summer of ripe melons and teenage angst."
Please join us and, whether you come as a reader or listener, we’re sure you will enjoy the story telling! For many Pen Women, this is their favorite meeting.
We will celebrate the NLAPW Honolulu Branch's 100 Birthday and announce the winners of our Lorin Tarr Gill Writing Contest.
